my paper is revenge tragedy in english renaissance——about 《hamlet》 ppt1:.... ppt2:....

ppt4:next, let`s analyse the relationship between the characters in the drama. this is a relationship diagram.

hamlet ,the prince of denmark and also the protagonist(主角、主要人物、领导者)was about thirty years old at the start of the play. hamlet is the son of queen gertrude and the late king hamlet, and the nephew of the present king, claudius. hamlet is melancholy, bitter, and cynical, full of hatred for his uncle’s scheming and disgust for his mother’s sexuality. a reflective and thoughtful young man who has studied at the university of wittenberg, hamlet is often indecisive and hesitant, but at other times prone to rash and impulsive acts.

claudius, as the king of denmark, hamlet’s uncle and the villain(反派角色) of the play, was a calculating, ambitious politician, and was driven by his sexual appetites and his lust for power, but he occasionally showed signs of guilt and human feeling—his love for gertrude, for instance, seems sincere.

ophelia - polonius’s daughter, a beautiful young woman with whom hamlet has been in love. ophelia is a sweet and innocent young girl, who obeys her father and her brother, laertes. dependent on men to tell her how to behave, she gives in to polonius’s schemes(诡计) to spy(侦察) on hamlet. even in her lapse into(陷入) madness and death, she remains maiden, singing songs about flowers and finally drowning in the river。

ppt6: then let`s look at the character analysis of hamlet. hamlet pretended to be mad in order to revenge. he also use his intelligence to approve his uncle`s guilt.

when hamlet confirmed that claudius was guilt, he decided to revenge without fear. then he also use stratagem to make himself avoid being killed. all of these approved that he was brave and smart.

ppt7: he pursued ophelia and finally gave up because of the revenge. before he was fight with laertes, he said sorry to him. this indicates he was guilt and sorry for laertes because it was he that made laertes lose his father. these approved that he was a kind and sincere man.

ppt9: when we read the play, we can also easily feel the dilemma. just like the words “to be or not to be-that is the question”

Good afternoon ,ladies and gentlemen!

I'm very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night?

Actually ,today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.

Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead . Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If

I can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.

"My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder."

In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's--- move ----out! Thank you for your listening!

good evening,ladies and gentlemen:

thank you very much for choosing to e in such a cold night。today my topic is about choice and process。a research shows that a man has to make 73 choices one day。with so many choices one day, people easily get so confused and afraid of making wrong choice that they hesitate and finally miss the true part of life。 in my opinion, the following part is of much more importance than the choice。 there is no absolute right or wrong choice but wonderful or boring life, which the process makes the difference。

life is a box of chocolate, you never know what you will get。 forrest gump made no decision by and for himself but he acplished great success with his strong will in the process。 the process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings, the caution, courage and persistance we have as we encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles。 take myself as an example,i changed my major when i became a postgraduate。 after the choice, days have been harsh for me。i cannot understand the new lessons at all。 for they are closely related to mathmatics which i learned nothing about before。 however wuth the belief that this is the great chance for me to experience new ideas and challenge myself,i persisted。 i asked for help from every channel and reorgonized my life。 gradually i could understand some parts and even found maths interesting。moreover,i learned to act instead of plaining。 in retrospect, the choice left no trace in my mind but the happiness and bitterness of the past four months bees an unforgetable experience in my life。

no matter what the choice is,enjoy the process。 in the process, your potential will be inspired and new discoveries, improvement and progress will e to you。 these are the most beautiful sceneries and only on the way can you see it。these make your life colorful。

there is no need and i donnot want to judge whether it right or wrong for me to be here, but i congratulate to myself for i gain and enjoy this fantastic experience。 so my dear friends, never worry about your choice and enjoy the process。 i am sure you will get something new and intersting tonight after you chose to e here。

thank you!

good morning,ladies and gentlemen:

my great pleasure to share my dream with you i was a child,i wanted to be a teacher. my father was a teacher, and he taught me a lot. i worshiped him very much. on my tenth birthday,he asked me,“what do you want to be when you grow up?”i answered proudly,“i want to be a teacher like you!”on hearing this,my father was very happy and said to me,“work hard and your dream will come true.” not long ago,one of my primary school teachers was ill. she wanted me to take her place for two weeks. i was glad but nervous. my father said to me,“this is a good chance. seize it! i wish you success!” when i came into the classroom, the children were very happy. i introduced myself to them. soon,i got on well with them. they all liked me and i loved them. with my father and headmaster's help,i did the work very well. now,i often miss those lovely children.

that experience had made me even more interested in being a teacher in the future.

thank you!

Dear teachers,dear students:

hello everyone!

The topic of my speech is "the hardness of life"

The vast desert,a tree stand, the show is a monument to the image.

Towering mountains, thousands of tree stand up,as is a magnificent the Great Wall.

The long river, all the trees stood up into a dragon of glory.

We are a symbol of too much, and too much. But I believe that my image is not "the gentlest hands, skin, such as Diorskin" Lin Daiyu, nor is the modern "unkempt and shabby","Su Qier". We are a symbol of hope and vitality. So we show in front of others should be ed without pleats, face without scale, modest and polite gestures exudes a stream of heroic spirit, the image of the vigor and vitality of the modern new youth,a into the embodiment of the spirit of nature.

Someone once said, life is a kind of hardness, integrity and dignity of life is propped up the hardness of bone. "Better life" and "the Kui back in the day,and not ashamed on the ground",which is always the traditional virtue of the China. Li Bai's "the eyebrow nengcui Zheyaoshan powerful thing,so that I may not be happy Yan" this awe inspiring atmosphere of the verse and whether it will make those no self-esteem people to shame? Loss of self-esteem is a worthless person, and we as the vanguard of the times,if drown in the darkness forever,or to do a dauntless hero,a flower in the wind and rain sonorous rose. The answer is self-evident. Desert desolate also has the monument stands,Castle Peak again proud, but also have the great wall around, the river again quiet, also there is a dragon in the recumbent. But the time can be changed, our image, our glory remains the same. Because we pride, because we are confident, because we have a fresh life. And because of this,it is a vast desert riparian long,Qingshan was evergreen, the hardness of life is forever.

Honorable Judges,fellow students:

Good afternoon!

Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?

The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory,go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.

The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other,we cherish freedom,we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.

As college students,we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice:cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future,or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.

thank you!

good morning/evening/afternoon,ladies and gentlemen:

today,my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.

first,i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea,a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays,as the world developing goes on,if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many example, china, the biggest developing country in the world,in the past 100 years,is always invaded by other countries, why, the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needleto say, they would have beat those big they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke ver, nowadays,it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect our country from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents

in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......

to sum up,talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world,if one country intends to flourish,he must foster talents as many as they can, that's all。

thank you!

Today,I'm very glad to stand here to share my dream with you.

Everyone has dream. Some people wan to be rich, dreaming of millionaires overnight, other want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great ent people have different dream. Of course,I've no exception. I love English very I want to be a famous translator in the all over the world can know me .

I never thought of my dream when I was a kid. Later,my dream always changed. At that time I don't know what dream is. I haven't studied English at all when I was in primary school. So you can imagine how awful my English is. I think it is impossible for me to study English well. Because I never read English words and English articles. I don't like English ,either. And I can't read the English well. But one day something changed , I have already changed my mind . I fall in love with English. I never give up ,although I'm not good at it. Then I began memorizing words, making sentences and doing some reading every day. I know we needed to build confidence in the process of learning English. We must know "Confidence can be gained with daily progress."

I want to stand on the top of the world. Now I can't requirement and it's not easy for me, but I'll study hard in the next two years. There is an old saying "where is a will, there is a way." I think my dream can come ture. I believe "Nothing is impossible" from beginning to end. It's very important to success.

At last ,I want to say to everybody"Hole on your dreams firmly, no matter how big or small they are. The path to dreams may not be smooth and wide, even some sacrifices are needed. But hold on to the end, you can find there is no greater happiness than making your dream come ture"

Ladies and Gentlemen:

My name is Tiffany, a Year 2 student from the University of Macau. I am currently an active member of the university Public Speaking Team, president of the Honours College Student Association, and also the vice president of the event department in Marketing Society. I am very active and outgoing. I enjoy being with people, engaged in conversations with them so that I can understand them more. I like public speaking as it can help increase my self-esteem and self-confidence. Aside from public speaking, I am also good at English recitation. I have joined the Macao-wide English Individual Recitation for a number of times when I was studying in the secondary school.

Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, actually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.

In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives.

It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossing on it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?

Nevertheless, one cannot foresee the future. Accidents do happen. For example, a car may suddenly appear in front of you. At such times, if you did not have the steering wheel, how could you make a sudden turn? Just as no one could foresee the Sichuan Earthquake nor the Japan Tsunami. If the one being trapped under the debris did not have faith, he/she would not have survived until being rescued. If we did not have faith, we could not recover from our sadness and rebuild our home.

Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.

Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessary for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. One must understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling wheel of your car, drive on, and reach your destination.

Thank you very much.

i have a dream today

i have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. wow, what a dream it has been for martin luther king. but the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their

dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes i personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

however, we need dreams. they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. they keep us going. most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. when we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. however, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. don‘t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.

these are not risk takers

you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people more than you know yourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you want to be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.

it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. when you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!

i challenge you to define your value.

everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. it’s necessary that you align yourself with people and attract people into your business, who are hungry, people who are unstoppable and unreasonable, people who are refusing to live life just as it is and who want more!the people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attach themselves to the and the people who are living their dreams are the people that know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!

i don’t know what that dream is that you have, i don’t care how disappointing it might have been as you’ve been working toward that dream, but that dream that you’re holding in your mind, that it’s possible!

Happiness is like a snowflake, each one unique because the perception of a meaningful life varies from person to person. To many people, happiness means a simple life without any ups and downs, but my happiness comes from a life full of challenge and experience.

When I was a child, happiness was the rare taste of independence, a brave leap from the mundane. I remember the first time I tried to to ride a bike by myself without the support wheels. I went back home with a flat tire, skinned knees, and the biggest grin my face could hold. While other toddlers preferred the safe and secure, I was tumbling down hills and swerving off sidewalks. Even now, I can still recall the exhilaration I had felt when I managed to stay atop that bike for those few short moments.

Later on, overcoming challenges that I encountered in life was what brought me happiness. You see, I started learning the violin. It was extremely hard and I sounded like I was flaying a cat every time I picked it up. My fingers were awkward and the bow slipped off the strings more times than it stayed on. I spent three hours everyday, sawing at my violin. My fingers bruised and my neck ached, but gradually the mistakes lessened and I was making music. Three years later, I was First Chair violinist in the school orchestra. I still remember the pride I had felt when I took my very first bow in front of an applauding audience. Happiness had felt so much sweeter after a hard won success.

When I got older and saw more of the world, I wanted to contribute more. So when most people my age chose to spend the three months before college relaxing, I decided to get a part-time job as a TA at a summer school. I woke up at the crack of dawn, took an hour's bus to the school every day and spent most of the summer vacation sitting in the back of classrooms, grading papers and taking notes on the lecture and tutoring students. It definitely wasn't the most glamorous summer, but it was one of the happiest and most memorable moments of my life. It didn’t just make me happy because it had been my first part-time job. I was happy because I had spent my time doing something worthwhile. I had contributed in my own way, and the children were going to do better in school in the coming year.

Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of cuts and bruises, but the scars left behind are the testimony of my own unique experiences and the fulfilling life that I want to pursue. Our time is limited and I want to experience as much as life can offer. My happiness comes from living an exciting and worthy life, true to myself and true to the world.

If personal happiness were a self portrait, then each day would be a stroke of the brush, each experience a splash of vivid paint. And when we are old, we can look back upon our life and the dots will connect, every brush of color will come together and reveal a life worth living and a person worth being.
